The FPB not only publishes the results of its research, but also a set of databases. These databases can contain either historical data or forecasts.

The Air Emissions Accounts present the emissions of CO2, CH4, N2O, HFC, PFC, SF6, CFC, HCFC, SO2, NOx, NH3, NMVOC, CO, PM10 and PM2.5 expressed in physical units by economic activity (NACE Rev.1.1) and for three household consumption categories (heating, transport, other), over the period 1990/95-2008.
The Air Emissions Accounts present the emissions of CO2, CH4, N2O, HFC, PFC, SF6, CFC, HCFC, SO2, NOx, NH3, NMVOC, CO, PM10 and PM2.5 expressed in physical units by economic activity (NACE Rev.1.1 to 2 digits) and for three household consumption categories (heating, transport, other). HFC, PFC, SF6, CFC and HCFC are available for the timeframe 1995-2008; the others are from 1990 to 2008. The emissions presented in the Air Emissions Accounts are recorded using the residence principle, so totals will differ from the emission inventories. The latter present emissions from the Belgian territory, while the air emissions accounts give the total emissions of Belgian residents, regardless of the territory in which they occur..
Four different indices are calculated for individual pollutants: two for greenhouse gases, one for acidifying gases and one for tropospheric ozone precursors. The two greenhouse gas indices are the Kyoto index (GHG) (1995-2008) and a simplified greenhouse gas index (sGHG), which only takes into account CO2, CH4 en N2O emissions (1990-2008).
Intensities are calculated for three indices: the Kyoto index and the indices for acidifying gases (ACID) and for tropospheric ozone precursors (TOFP). They are expressed as a quantity of emissions per unit of value added for the industries and as emissions per unit of consumption expenditure for households.
